Our annual Christmas
party, details here soon means that
we can benefit approximately 65 children and
young people. This is directly due to the generous donations of presents
from various churches and organisations. Through our partnerships and
networks with a variety of faith and community organisations, This togethre
with and other cultural events/ celebrations, e.g. Team Spirit (for disabled
children), the African Women’s Welfare Group, Haringey Play Associations;
Sierra Leone Welfare Association; Polish and East European group; Social
Workers working with looked-after children and unaccompanied minors mean
that CARIS continues to make the festive season & other times of the year
just a little bit better for over 400 children each year. They and their
parents or carers really appreciate the difference this makes. Two Christmas
parties were held at CARIS office for different age groups: a total of 65
